This sleeve is manufactured in compliance with the following standards:
SAE J1453 – ORFS connection standard
ISO 8434-3 – International standard for O-Ring Face Seal fittings
SAE J524/J525 – Standard for inch-size seamless hydraulic tubing
After welding, the sleeve becomes a permanent part of the tube. When assembled with an ORFS fitting, the O-ring in the sealing face compresses against the mating surface to form a metal-to-elastomer face seal. This design supports high pressure, frequent reassembly, and excellent vibration resistance.
