Connection Type

This adapter offers a hybrid connection between two international thread systems:

• ORFS Male (O-Ring Face Seal):
  The male end is designed according to SAE J1453 / ISO 8434-3, with a flat face and an embedded O-ring. When mated with an ORFS female, it ensures a secure, leak-free seal, ideal for high-pressure and high-vibration hydraulic applications. Sealing is achieved via the O-ring compressed against a flat face.

• JIS Metric Female (60° Cone):
  The female end features a metric thread with a 60° cone seat, complying with JIS B8363 standards. This thread type is widely used in Japanese hydraulic equipment and construction machinery. The seal is formed through metal-to-metal contact between the cone and mating male fitting.

This adapter allows smooth and reliable connection between American ORFS systems and Japanese metric hydraulic components.
